Postcard From Kyoto

A group of tourists crossing paths with a young maiko in Miyagawa-cho. This juxtaposition of ancient, traditional culture and ultra-modern sensibilities is what that makes Japan so fascinating.

What a great photo - so true to the spirit of Kyoto. I'm going there this Friday to enjoy sakura mania, Miyako Odori & wandering the cobbled streets of Gion. Can't wait! I hope you guys had an amazing time, but as you seem to be a maiko-magnet I bet that wasn't a problem ;-).
