Congratulations Melissa, it's a gorgeous picture & you certainly deserve the honour :-). Went to Kyoto last week by the way and what an AMAZING place! We're already making plans to visit again in spring... And yes, we saw several maiko & geisha in Gion, but they were moving too fast to get good photos (you should tell me your trick one day!).

Arigatou Inge (^-^) Kyoto is amazing at all times, but I dont think anything can beat Kyoto in the spring! I cant wait to hear more about your trip. Those geiko sure are quick, arent they? I dont know how they move that fast, and still look graceful and elegant.(^_<)
