National Geographic Traveler's Blog!

Hisashiburi! It's been quite awhile since my last post. So long, in fact, that I'd be suprised if anyone was still out there...

But just in case, I wanted to share what may have been one of the biggest thrills of my lifetime: Seeing the iconic National Geographic header topping a page with one of my photographs on it! I know it's just the NatGeo Traveler's Blog, but it still gave me chills!

You may remember the fine people at National Geographic choosing one of my images for the Global Eye feature.

Check it out, and don't forget to add yout two cents. Share your own experiences in Kyoto, or add your take on the effect globalization has on travel.

Hello!

I really enjoy your blog and seeing all of the geiko and maiko-san. I hope to see future posts! They are all so beautiful and really do make me want to tour Japan (esp. Kyoto) as well! Thank you so much for everything.

Hi, I just found this blog, and it's pretty inspiring! I'm taking Japanese 3 at school right now, and I hope to one day teach English in Asia as well. Through your blog I've gotten a slight glimpse of what it's like, and I like what I see :) Thank you for updating your blog. I'll be going to Japan this summer for a week and I'm pretty excited. Hi! Super kawaii blog!

I happened upon your blog while on the hunt for research online, a pleasant stumble!

Your appreciative perception of Japan gives me many thoughts, extraordinary!

I'll be moving to Tokyo soon, so this gives me something more to explore during my stay!
